Introduction
This report details eight impactful activities undertaken by The Ambassadors College, Ota, Nigeria during the reaccreditation stage of the British Council International School Award (ISA), 2023-2024 Cycle, all designed to continually promote a truly international dimension within our school community. These activities embraced a diverse range of themes, from environmental awareness and cultural exchange to technological literacy, engaging a broad spectrum of students across various grade levels and subjects. The activities served not only to foster collaboration and a well-rounded educational experience for our students but also to address various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations, highlighting our school's commitment to building a more sustainable and equitable future.

International School Award (ISA) Coordinator's Message
I'm thrilled to announce that The Ambassadors College has successfully completed another round of exciting international collaboration projects as part of the British Council's prestigious International School Award (ISA) program!

Driving the ISA in our school was an uphill task albeit very rewarding. Saddled with the task of selecting capable hands from our work force to work in the ISA committee, the coordinator engaged her critical thinking skills to make this all-important decision. Having set up the committee, the brainstorming sessions that brought about the seven projects commenced. Having to work with a group of people with mixed abilities was herculean! Notwithstanding, everybody's strength needed to be harnessed for a successful outing.
The ISA program is a fantastic initiative that fosters international understanding and global citizenship in students. At The Ambassadors College, we are active participants, consistently undertaking collaborative projects that connect us with schools worldwide.
We were honoured to receive the ISA Award in the 2021-2023. This achievement was a product of seven remarkable projects completed during the 2018/2019 cycle, projects that explored themes like sustainability, gender equality, and technological advancements.
I'm incredibly proud to share that in 2023, we embarked on and completed eight new projects, with local and international collaboration. These projects explored diverse themes like water scarcity, healthy eating habits, responsible waste management, and cultural exchange. The positive impact on our students, teachers, and the wider community has been truly inspiring.
From enhanced cultural understanding and the development of essential global skills like communication and problem-solving, to fostering a sense of community engagement – these projects have enriched our college environment in remarkable ways.
Looking ahead, We are deeply committed to continuing The Ambassadors College's participation in the ISA program. I have no doubt that future projects will continue to have a positive impact on our college community.
